Meet the Author
Daniel K. Drummond
My dad was a career Navy and was a WWII Vet. We moved a lot as I was growing up. When he was stationed in New Jersey in 1949, I contracted Polio in the 1949 New Jersey Polio Epidemic. The Military hospitals were so overwhelmed with children; they sent us all to the Monmouth Medical Center. I was there 2 years. I was only 10 months old at the time. I have been on a journey ever since. God has done amazing things in my life.
I am a graduate of Indiana University where I received my bachelor's degree in 1971 with a Major in Health and Physical Education and a Minor in Political Science. While at I.U., I ran Track and played Soccer. In 1977, I received my master's degree at IU.
